Metro Division 9 is a $13 million 4-story LEED MTA bus facility in El Monte, and was Metro’s first LEED certified facility.
Firm Role
DE provided change administration and negotiation, claims avoidance and project controls including Sr. Project Scheduler, as a Prime to Metro. Work included change management, including review and response to Requests for Change (RFC’s) and preparation of change documents, negotiation of cost changes, claims avoidance, and detailed monthly schedule analysis and schedule review responses. DE provided specialized cost and schedule support to Metro’s team; cost changes and schedule issues were resolved during the project with no outstanding claims; lone contractor delay RFC was swiftly resolved. DE worked together in augmentation to Metro staff to successfully deliver Metro’s first LEED project on time and under budget.
